THE MISSION OF NBCC

Our mission is to enhance breast care awareness and health for all women, by providing the needed guidance and emotional support, within one location that hosts the most advanced services provided by a multidisciplinary team of exceptional medical experts.

ALL WOMEN, WITHOUT EXCEPTION

This mission includes aiding women from all socioeconomic classes in Lebanon with their breast concerns, without bias or discrimination.
This will be accomplished by first spreading awareness, among people, about breast care education and knowledge about breast cancer. Second, NBCC will collaborate with local non-profit organizations to support the breast care needs of marginalized women.

THE VISION
OF NBCC

NBCC aims to gain national and international accreditation and forge strong ties with centers of reference in Europe and the United States, to become a premier source of education about breast care in the region and to strengthen volunteer-led efforts with related NGOs.

BREAST CANCER AWARENESS

According to the National Cancer Registry conducted by the Lebanese Ministry of Public Health (2015), breast cancer is the most common female cancer in Lebanon. Regular screening for early detection of breast cancer has been established as a necessary step to improve survival rates.
While breast cancer is a serious disease, most patients can go on to live a normal life. With early detection and treatment, a cure can be achieved for up to 95% of cases.
With this concept in mind, NBCC is dedicated to help reduce the rate of advanced breast cancer cases in Lebanon, by educating Lebanese women on the importance of early detection through regular screening and breast-self-examination.
