WHAT IS BREAST CANCER?

Breast cancer is a result of cells in the breast becoming mutated and attacking other healthy cells in the surrounding tissue. The accumulation of mutated or damaged cells are what form the breast lump or tumor. Then, the cell mutation can begin to spread in the breast tissue or even in other areas of the body.
